Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 August 2026

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This text was written to cover the usual requirements, but it is not legal advice. It will be reviewed before the public launch.

1 · Scope

These terms govern the use of Unitorly, offered by Feuz Institute ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

2 · The service

Unitorly is a study tool. It manages your course of study, keeps a knowledge state per competency, schedules repetitions and generates text prompts for AI services. Unitorly does not run an AI itself: you use the generated prompts in a service of your choice, to which that service's own terms apply.

We develop the service continuously. Features may change; we announce material restrictions with reasonable notice.

3 · Your account

You need an account to use the service. Your credentials are to be kept confidential. The information you provide must be truthful. If you are a minor, a paid subscription requires the consent of your legal guardian.

4 · Free use and subscription

Unitorly can be used in a permanently free version with a limited scope. The Standard Membership costs CHF 9.90 per month including VAT and is billed through Stripe.

  • Billing is in advance for the month concerned.
  • The subscription renews automatically for a further month.
  • You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
  • Amounts already paid for current periods are not refunded pro rata, to the extent permitted by law.

5 · Cancellation

Cancel in your account settings, or informally by writing to admin@unitorly.com. When the paid period ends, your account switches to the free version; your data is kept.

We may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a material breach of these terms — for instance abusive use, circumventing limits, or unlawful content.

6 · Your content

The documents you upload remain your property. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights. We use them solely to provide the service to you — not to train models, and not to pass on to third parties.

7 · Acceptable use

  • No reselling and no sharing of access.
  • No automated bulk querying and no circumventing of limits.
  • No unlawful or infringing content.

8 · Availability

We aim for reliable operation but do not owe any particular level of availability. Maintenance and faults may cause interruptions. Unitorly also depends on third-party services.

9 · Liability

We are liable for intent and gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular we give no warranty as to learning outcomes, exam results, or the factual accuracy of text produced by third-party AI services. Always check important content yourself.

10 · Data protection

Our Privacy Policy applies.

11 · Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. We announce changes with reasonable notice. If you do not object and continue to use the service, the changes are deemed accepted.

12 · Governing law, jurisdiction and language

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of Feuz Institute, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions stipulate otherwise.

These terms are published in English only; the English version is the binding one.
